Since 2009, DJ Funkaholic presented gems from his collection on the local radio station Leinehertz in the show “this is FUNKAHOLIC!” until the station’s unfortunate demise.

The radio show has since found a new home in Brooklyn, NY. Kurtis Powers—also a passionate vinyl collector and a British-born New Yorker by choice—had been following “this is FUNKAHOLIC!” on the music platform Mixcloud for years and came up with the idea of bringing Funkaholic and his show to the New York radio station The Face Radio Brooklyn in 2019.

The two-hour show “this is FUNKAHOLIC!” airs once a month and can also be heard worldwide via live stream here. All upcoming broadcast dates can be found here.
